A Frozen Princess in the Desert

All of Peyton's dreams and wishes came true on a Friday afternoon when she was whisked out of school a few hours early, surprised with a brand new, impossible to find, geniune Elsa costume, and taken to Girly Girlz to meet the ONE AND ONLY Princess Elsa.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, and if the previous sentence didn't find you busting out the chorus from "Let it Go" then we are no longer friends.

But if you do know what I'm talking about, then you know how UH-mazing of a mother I am for arraging such an afternoon for precious Peyton. And for those of you who guessed, Martin was indeed out of town, and I was indeed trying to bribe my daughter with fantastic experiences while he was away.

Shopping find of the century! Miss Jenny scored the coveted Elsa dress just in the nick of time.

The cold never bothered me anyway. Well, actually, Peyton hates the cold.

Elsa partners in crime.

Finally getting to meet the one and only. Her hands were SOOOO cold!

Of course, the evening didn't end there. We took the girls for glitter tattoos (I'm pretty sure the store knows us by name now), and then PK and I headed to Benihana for a little chop 'em up action.
Selfie with my dinner date.
We got home and as I tucked Peyton into bed she whispered, "I'm so happy." Ahhh...
