Back to Arizona...and home!

After a fun four days in Albuquerque, we re-packed all of our crap, and braved the icy, snow covered roads between the 'burque and Show Low to make our journey home. A huge snow storm pummeled the area the day before, and the drive was slow going. Peyton was a trooper though, and didn't even seem fazed when, upon arrival back at the cabin, the car slowly slid SIDEWAYS down the steep driveway into the street. Martin and my Dad made a quick trip to Home Depot for some sand, and a few beers later, all the drama was forgotten.

We got there just in time to watch Notre Dame take on the University of Miami in the Sun Bowl. The good guys won (33-17), and we enjoyed a relaxing New Year's Eve in Show Low.

The next day, Grandma Richardson took Peyton into the jacuzzi. She wasn't too happy about it, but tolerated it to make Grandma happy. :)

After another day of chillaxin', we AGAIN packed up all of our goods and headed back to Scottsdale. We unloaded the car for the one billionth time, spent the night there, and then re-loaded it again to go to the airport. I'm exhausted just thinking about it! In all, it was way too much traveling and we packed way too much stuff. But, it was Peyton's first Christmas, and we were blessed to spend it with both of our families.

The end.
