Christmas Festivities

This holiday not only marked the first time Peyton celebrated Christmas, but it marked a number of other significant "firsts" as well.

Peyton said her first words. She started out with "Mama," then a few hours later said "bye bye." Once she figured out she could talk, we could't stop her. In the course of two weeks she went from saying nothing to having said Mama, bye bye, papa, uh oh, Dada and what all of us determined was dog. Looks like we have a chatterbox on our hands.

Peyton also tasted her first candy cane, suffered through her first (and hopefully last) bout of pneumonia, and for the first time, clapped her hands. Oh yeah, and there was Santa and presents and all that other good stuff too.

I have tons of pictures from Christmas, so I'm going to break it down into several posts. My apologies in advance for those of you who get the email updates everytime I post.
