I am officially 35 weeks pregnant, with 35 days to go until my due date. Someone with way too much time on his/her hands figured this out, and it is apparently a big milestone during pregnancy.
With just a short five weeks remaining before Peyton joins us, I wanted to get this blog set up and underway for all of our friends and family. Most of you live too far away for our liking, and Martin and I hope this helps you feel like you are able to watch Peyton grow and learn as we do.
We are pretty close to being ready for the arrival. The nursery (Peyton's Palace) is just about finished, and we made a big trip to Babies 'R Us for the remaining necessities over the weekend. Martin needs to install the carseat, and I need to get my haircut (priorities, people).
In the coming weeks I will train myself to get into the blogging habit and update you on my progress as we reach the homestretch.
